How to play PokeMMO on your RG35XXSP! (+All Knulli/MuOS/ArkOS/Rocknix Handhelds)

This tutorial is specifically meant for RG35XXSP devices, but if you have any of the other RG35XX variants, it's the same setup!
For those with other handheld variants, you will want to select the correct Rocknix CFW for your device family.

Required resources:

Custom firmware (CFW), Rocknix:

PokeMMO Port for PortMaster:

The custom controls.ini is no longer needed on the master branch of the PokeMMO Port repo! (Rejoice!) Special thanks to the team working on it. Feel free to skip that step in the video.

F.A.Q.

• Can I pass a captcha pop-up with this?
Answer: Yes!

• Do I have to use the Rocknix CFW?
Answer: It's most stable CFW for PokeMMO, and works well. I couldn't get it to work on Knulli (shader crashing). *EDIT*: Knulli is now supported by the port!

• I can't connect to my handheld via SMB!
Answer: Make sure both devices are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

• I can't connect my physical keyboard and mouse to my handheld with Rocknix CFW!
Answer: R.I.P., neither could I LOL

• Can I use the nightly build of the Rocknix CFW?
Answer: Don't do it, you will cry (I couldn't get it to work with this port)

• How can I catch more shinies?
Answer: Sacrifice your firstborn in the name of Dialga and Palkia (in minecraft)
